patrons . . . Since
1970 Mel Horst and the Horst
family owned and operated the
Folk Craft Center Museum,
Shoppes, and Bed & Breakfast.
In March of 2005 the operation
and management was entrusted to
new proprietors. The Museum
complex has been transformed into
a unique set of shoppes featuring
antique reproduction furnishings.
The Bed & Breakfast is now
being run as a simple country
inn. The Horst family wishes to
thank our many guests, friends,
and visitors who have supported
Mel's development of the Folk
Craft Center throughout these
past 35 years.
Mel will continue
to promote his knowledge and
resources, pertaining to the
Amish & Mennonite culture,
through this web site.
